(Troy, MI) Jamie Michelson, president of SMZ (Simons Michelson Zieve Advertising Inc.), announced the hiring of Jackie Davis at the Troy-based agency.
Davis has joined the SMZ team as traffic manager. She received her bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Detroit Mercy and also earned a certificate in radio and television broadcasting from Specs Howard School of Media Arts.
Davis’ background is in sales as a media account manager. Prior to SMZ she worked for CBS Radio, Comcast Spotlight, WMYD and Gannett Digital, and was responsible for managing the advertising campaigns of local direct and agency accounts. She also developed new business and promotional campaigns for clientele.
A Detroit native, Davis enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. She resides in Metro Detroit with her husband of 11 years, Oscar.
